Vacuum and centrifugal pumps
Vacuum pumps They are used to remove air and moisture from systems by creating a vacuum, or low pressure, in the system. Vacuum pumps vary in capacity and in their ability to achieve adequate vacuum pressure.
Centrifugal pumps The liquid to be pumped flows centrally onto an impeller from which it is ejected outwards by centrifugal force. This type of pump transfers the liquid from the centre to the outside of the impeller, between its vanes.
